When I am not pursuing my acting, filmmaking/editing dreams or running my non-profit (bio), I'm just a girl who wants to get out and explore this amazing city.  Living on a tiny budget is my reality, but I never let that hold me back from having fun!  I am always looking for things to do that don't break the bank or offer a new perspective of LA.  Join me and discover LA on the cheap.

Melrose Trading Post

September 4, 2018

Why I Love It

An eclectic collection of handmade goods, vintage finds, and the latest fashion trends. The Melrose Trading Post is so much fun to walk around and shop in! There's also a great selection of food tents and live music! Entry is $5, but you'll feel good knowing the proceeds go towards Fairfax High School programs!

What's Nearby

Not done shopping? There's plenty more shops to check out on Melrose Avenue. If you're planning ahead, try to book tickets to a show at The Hollywood Improv and see a famous comedian perform stand-up (generally, shows on Sunday start anywhere from 5:00 - 7:00 pm)!

A lot of vendors still take cash only. Forgot your cash, don't worry -- there are ATM's available throughout the market, but best to plan ahead!  Looking for the FREE, there is free, stacked-style parking at Fairfax and Clinton Avenues  (the lot gets full, sometimes).
