Why I Love It
Going to Union Station is a bit like going back in time. The interior is absolutely stunning, and a bit of a peek into the past. The high ceilings fill with the smell of coffee and yummy food from the inside restaurants. And if you're feeling up to it, you can easily catch a train down to San Diego for the day!
What's Nearby
Union Station is on the outskirts of Downtown LA, but there is plenty within walking distance or just a short ride away. My favorite is Olvera Street, just a 2min walk up the hill from the main entrance. But you can also wander off to Chinatown or check out what's happening in downtown!
TIP
If you're picking someone up from the station, enter from the back side off Vignes Ave. If you're just sightseeing, there is short term parking in the front!
